The Villanueva de la Serena Mineralogy Museum is made up of some 2,000 pieces, mainly from Extremadura and Spain, but also from other parts of the world. It is owned by José Antonio Garrido, a businessman from Miajadas, who has donated this collection of rocks and minerals collected by himself.
